Great Halloween Couples Costumes from History

If you are a lover of history, its time you show it with two fabulous looking Halloween couples costumes from History.

Creative Halloween couples costumes can be hard to find, but we’ll just show you some ideas to keep you and your partner partying in style during this year’s fright night festivities. We have just two outstanding pairs to show you: Bonnie & Clyde and Charles Lindbergh & Amelia Earhart.

Bonnie & Clyde: Partners in Crime

History inspired Halloween couples costumes are creative and can be much fun. Explore the adventure and excitement of becoming Bonnie and Clyde this Halloween!

Clyde would start with the 1920’s Gangster costume. Put on the 1920s gangster hat and wear some white gangster spats. A prop machine gun would give you a dramatic entrance.

Bonnie would wear a Speakeasy flapper dress. A black cloche hat and roaring flapper beads of the 20s gives a touch of class. Then carry along a small toy derringer pistol to ensure you’re properly armed for the night. Some popular accessories of the 20’s and 30’s, such as black fishnets and pumps would finish the job.

Charles and Amelia

For Charles: Wear some khaki pants and white button-up shirt, a tie, a bomber jacket, and a pair of dress shoes. Choose to wear the aviator costume kit to get the perfect blend of accessories. This comes complete with a hat, a scarf and goggles. With these, you’d be ready to fly!

For Amelia: You’ll need a brown button-down shirt on some lovely khaki pants tucked into a knee-high pair of brown boot. Wear a brown bomber jacket to complete the ensemble. For accessories, tie a white aviator scarf in a loose loop around your neck and put on vintage aviator goggles perching it atop your head.

These two ideas are quite mature and classy in the “oldies” kind of way, and will stand you out from the crowd.

Have a great time out together, and don’t forget to shop at Mallatts.com any time of the year for your specialty makeup, costume, and accessory needs!
